Classification of Rooms and Definitions
| 56 Private Rooms | One bed and its own washroom. |
| 12 Semi-private Rooms | One bed and a shared washroom with an adjoining room. |
| 60 Basic Rooms | Two beds and a shared washroom. |
| Preferred | Designated private or semi-private rooms. |
Resident Preferred Accommodation Policy
Residents who wish to reside in preferred accommodation must pay the current maximum basic accommodation rate plus the applicable preferred accommodation premium. Eastholme agrees to provide 30 days written notice of any change to the preferred accommodation premiums.
Accommodation Rates
- Private – Preferred premium is $28.70 per day plus the maximum basic rate of $66.95 = $95.65/day
- Semi-private – Preferred premium is $13.77 per day plus the maximum basic rate of $66.95. = $80.72/day
- Basic – maximum basic accommodation rate is $66.95 per day.
Bedrooms, dining and sitting rooms are air-conditioned.
Long Stay Accommodation
The Province has adopted a standard rate policy for basic accommodation for all Nursing Homes and Homes for the Aged in the province.
The maximum rate for basic accommodation is $66.95 per day, effective July 1, 2024.
Accommodation for couples can be provided in several of our large basic rooms or adjoining private or semi-private rooms.
